crosshair-trouble, pcx etc.

when trying to open the ch1, 2 and 3.pcx-files in photoshop 8 the colors are changed to greyscale, what's up with that? then i tried printscreen from acdsee, pasting them in photoshop, and then editing and save. it didn't work in q2, colors all fucked up again, the ch an ugly square. and i used the colors from the quake-palette....
is it just photoshop that fucks up? dl'ing paint shop pro now to test there..
