Aq2World Action Quake 2 Servers

I (deimos) am trying to arrange some servers in name of aq2world.net .
2 x p4 3ghz - Dutch - AMX - 1024 DDR 333 - 2 gigabite line
The 2 dutch servers will succeed for sure. As far as it goes for other country's i haven't got a clue yet. I will do my best though.
The dutch servers will be activated within 2 months from now.
It all depends on the spare time i've got comparing with my work and familly.

wow, 5 new servers will be nice
what will it be? 2 public and 3 clan?
there seems to be enough public servers now and i know people struggle to find a decent clan match server thats set up right, so maybe this is summat to keep in mind?
What will happen to the nl servers that used to be run by you before? will these new servers be in addition to those or.. what?

Those servers are currently down due to maintanence.
c0ws server will be up asap, the other servers might take a bit longer
.
As said before it'll last like 2 months to get it all up.

well the last servers were of not that well quality.
But the gameserver servers we have before that were pwnage.
eventho finish people pinged 30-50 on it they refused to play it cuz of the .nl in the addres.
So i dunno if its of any use since there are enough servers running atm to suply the .uk .de and .nl

Well if I have to say what server rocks and so.
Pelitutka rlz. Maybe not the best ping to non-finn players. I like TnX very much too, though the ping is 2 times bigger there
And more servers will be needed, always.

2 times bigger, means 15*2 = 30

To me 2 times bigger ping means (according to pelitutka's) 35*2=70
. Lag.

eDome definately has the best public server where there is players all the time. Though they lost all their players when they got these new config-sheits. Why not just keep aq2 the way it is? If they want a non m4 server, then start one! eDome used to be full every day, but now it stands empty for most of the day reading eDome AQ2 Public Teamplay - Mixed Maps

Jazzie, use aq.playtrix.net, it has the same connection that is in eDome (sonera) if I remember correctly. =)
