What is the difference between gl_celshading and gl_cellshading?!

bingo. it doesn't work cause it isn't a command at all. It is as effective as "set woopiedoo 2.3"

What the hell are you saying? I am not an idiot, type 'gl_ce' and then press 'TAB', from the console - you will see what I mean. I'm pretty sure if you try the same with 'woop' you'll get zip. Now, J, maybe you should try to have a look and see what I mean before you start being witty. Asshole :)

You probably used it as an "alias" somewhere?

Wtf? Why would I do that?

Cannot check it right here, not sure whether or not that would show up in the same way when you press 'TAB' either. Might also be a place-holder, although they are usually removed. If it as a 'local' thing I owe you an apology, Jazzie. But you remain a smartass..

What does cel_shading do ? :)

Cel-Shading is the "art" of rendering your objects to look like cartoons. Various cartoon effects can be achieved with very little modifications to the original source code. You can have anime effects, as seen in DragonballZ or Gundam, or "classic" cartoons such as Loony Toons. Cel-Shading is a very powerful form of rendering, and it's results can completely change the "feel" of a game. For instance, the cartoon-like graphics of Jet Set and Grind Radio on the Dreamcast add to the atmosphere and help create one hell of a funky game.

I'm not easily offended, and I was wrong, too. So hey: (/me is a jackass). Anyway, cheers. Only a couple of hours remaining. Will there be room on the webby for a bi-weekly column by 'the official forum smart-ass' - I know I would read it. :poke:
