There have been some topics about it, but here again!
What do i have to change in winamp so i can listen to mp3 in aq2?

Change the output that you are using. Most likely to direct sound.

Think it has to do with w98 as well. Cause i wasnt able to play winamp + aq2 on win98 but never had any problems with winXP. What i do notice is a 5fps performance drop when using winamp 5. When my maxfps is 80 i have a few fps less but when its maxfps 100 i have 95. Without winamp everything is fine.

well, im using win98 since im still using the good old voodoo3.. and for games it just works the best with win98, and besides that the last time i looked for xp voodoo3 drivers i couldnt find them, maybe they are there now. But why switching while it just works fine now?
