Alternate Scopes without changing PAKs?
Okies, got a question for you, boys and girls. I was browsing through the numerous paks on the computer today and I noticed a pak (I think it was a NARF pak, edited by gr00f, could be mistaken) that had 3 different sniper scopes in the pics folder, entitled scope2x (that's standard) and then scope2xb and scope2xc., the same for 4x and 6x. What I'm wondering is, can this work? Can you, using a command, just like with normal crosshairs (e.g. set crosshair "3") swap between these scopes in your pak. If not, I don't understand the content of this pak. Anybody got a clue?

Nope you cant but this option can be easily build in any aq2 version.
the scope2x, scope2xb and scope2xc could be a backup so he wont loose them or easy swap scopes. If not, I don't understand the content of this pak. Anybody got a clue?
There's a chopper coming in 3 days and there's a katana on top of the cafe and that's all you need to know

You know I'm sarcastic 99 percent of the time, hence the name.. no need to get worked up over it, I'll speak to you sometime this weekend. Cheers.
Emu - I take it you mean someone has that movie on video. If it could be ripped (or if it is ripped already) and be made available to me somehow I would be very grateful. What irc chan's u hanging out in? We might be able to get together this weekend.

This has nothing to do with warez, I think.
Just plain interest in movies.
And what exactly do you mean by 'illegal', Repsaj, downloading?

Humm, I'll remove the siggie, don't you worry. Anyway, before letting it the topic rest (and I shan't bring it up again), here's what I think: Requesting a movie that's no longer available from traditional sources for personal use only (as in, not to exploit the author's intellectual property) is neither wrong, nor does it fall under the classic definition of 'warez'. If someone wants to sell me his/her own legal copy of the afore mentioned film, I'm more than willing to pay the price - the bet I made about is symbolical, and there's no gain to be made. Anyway, thanks for the cheerful reminder of what can and cannot be said here, although I'm pretty sure there are discussions on having played DOOM 3 on this forum as well, two days before it hits the shelves - it's a fine line is all I'm saying.
