Long Waiting Times

Am I correct in my assessment that there are three aq2 events that should have been finished (or started), long ago?

- EAQL
- Summercup
- Nation's Cup

If I am correct, what are the reasons for the delays? I'm not saying it isn't alot of work, but criticism should not be avoided just because the community is grateful. I think however, there might be something to learn from all this for aspiring event-organizers (read: me), so please don't misunderstand me for either being wrong - or being pushy.

EAQL isn't finished because it isn't finished, delayed by summer.

Nations Cup hasn't begun because the EAQL isn't finished.

And finally, summercup hasn't begun since the maps are not uploaded to all the various servers yet.

Okay, 'official forum troll', or whatever (no offence, u the man), what lesson can be learned from all this? Maybe seasons (of aq2 events) should take the summerbreak into account next season? Etc, Etc.

The nations cup is going to start after the summer, as already said in other topics

Totally useless to have a tournament that lasts over a long holiday(like the summer) beacuse a team can change alot in that time.

Well, i became headadmin while everything was organized, or lets say.. they said it was organized. Everything was "planned" for the groupstage, i couldnt change a thing about it, so if a new eaql season will be started.. it will be planned much better, same will go for the nations cup, which i will organize from the beginning.

(offtopic, i had introduction from my new school n99, so thats why i wasnt around last week, try to pm me at irc sometime, on my bnc account preferly.. since it reports the messages even if im offline)
