OpenGL = no crosshair?

Post by Insomniac »

Anyone know a workaround for this?

It was there on my old system under openGL, but now with my new computer it AQ2 runs super fast but no crosshair??? Will try uninstalling & reinstalling drivers tonight as it must be down to them if it worked before...

I've just upgraded from an AMD 750mhz, 256mb RAM and MX440 to an AMD XP3000+, 1Gb OCZ RAM with ABit Radeon 9600.
(I've resused old bits like my hard drives etc. so it worked out pretty cheap)

Building a similar system (XP2500, 512mb RAM) for my brother and I doubt he'd be chuffed at having to play AQ2 in software just to get a crosshair!

Thanks,
Insomniac

Thanks guys, but installing the latest ATi drivers solved it for me :D

Strangely my brothers PC refuses to run in Default OpenGL in AQ2 (something about not being able to load ref32_gl.dll?).
He's got the exact same card as me (256mb ABit Radeon 9600), same motherboard (ABit NF7-S) etc. His system's just a little lower specced.

Will try uninstalling & re-installing the drivers again tonight.
