Yeah that's what I thought of, too, but it did feel too 'clunky' (what is with you and that word, Jazzie?) to me as well. I mean, selecting a song, cutting it, renaming it and then uploading it somewhere? Let's just a clip to listen to is optional, for those that can be bothered.

We had this really cool cd with lots of nice oldies, like cottoneye joe etc.
Among was a very good song going something like this:

Uhm, we lost the cd cuz we went drinking in a park and it started raining so much we had to run for our lives, well we dont know what the song I just typed something from is called, so I'd hope one of you musicexperts could help me out : )

I have no idea what that moose's tune is, but hey.. how about a lousy idea of tracking your own versions of tunes lefting out some tracks perhaps (melody or something).. trying to recognize only by chords and if it looks like nobody is guessing that, then add some tracks (like that melody track). How about that shit?
