But i had a dm2 wich was about 5-6sec and it where about 1.5gig big in .avi!

Like FragBait said, recode it to DivX and maybe lower the resolution?

Its because the quality of the avi file is so good and it havent been zipped down by any codecs yet, thats why

.avi file is uncompressed, so that's why it is so big. When you compress it with, for example, DivX or XviD, the size will go down very much.

mm. raw avi takes 14.5mb / s or something. Its alot easier to edit a raw avi than a compressed avi file. So I recommend you to use raw avi while editing with premiere/vegas or whatever
