I figured that I would probably find more q2 mappers here than on map-center.com so here it is:
Do you know how to get rid of the red glow (light) that can be seen in OpenGL rendering on a brush that has the mist surfaceparm set? I can't seem to get rid of it, and I can really see what's causing it either since the software mode... So do you know a workaround for this problem?

the strange thing is that I'm having chainlink fences (trans66) that actually touch other brushes - read on rust that this would cause the redish glow - but there is next to no glow there... but on a banner that I'm trying to get into my map, which has no tran flags set, only mist so that you could walk thru it, the whole texture turns red even tho it isn't touching any other brush. I'm puzzled.WizardExt wrote:I have struggled with the same problem. But I get better results when I avoid having mist brushes near edges.
