That was not very tough, I dont understand why that math professor said you'd be smarter if you took longer to guess it. You gotta be pretty goddamn narrow-minded to use a year to get it as he did

i think that the smartest ppl don't see so the solution right away, because they start searching for a complicated pattern :) i did that first, but noticed how it goes because it was bright as day :) for some people it is too bright to be noticed :p

I tried 'solving' it this afternoon, got involved in something else, tried again just now. I must be ultra-brilliant since I don't see what the hell kind of pattern it is. Fuck me, I also don't see how something like dictionary.com can be of any help.

I'll just claim the Stupidity Title instead, I guess..
