Very nice map Wiz!
Beatiful sky and very nice and smooth lighting fits to the sky perfectly. Texturing is also well done and textures fits together. Nice details there also and good work with clip burshes. Too bad this didn't make it to the competition. Well as I see the result of your work I can say it's better not to hurry. The map seemed very confusing at the first look but im sure only the beginning is hard.
as people before me already said, a bloody nice map from the assembly line map maker Wiz. assassin2 looks great and seems to be more than just a "rush trough" map. too bad the trend seems to be these days to just play fast-paced maps (and i'm not saying this would even be uberslow). looking forward to play it..
Already played it yesterday for about 80 mins, really great map, hopefully people will change maprotations with new maps, im getting bored of all those urban, tj etc.
/me cant wait for assassin1
Offtopic: Genie, your avatar is really confusing and hurts my eyes
wow! I'm really impressed with this map, it looks and feels so realistic. Usually you don't actually get the feeling of being in a city when jumping around on a AQ2 map, but the atmosphere and the looks of this map is really great. I haven't played it yet on a server, but I just spent 10 min jumping around, and the gameplay looks as if it could be really good as well... lots of routes but not too many either...
oh, and to those of you who say this map is big: what? this is a medium sized map, which could introduce lots of nice tactics instead of the small/fast rushes you get on small maps, where you instantly know where the enemy is. I just love it when there's something more than just pure aim that's involved...
The map may look big at first, but give it a go and you'll find it much smaller than it looks. I played this map some with WizardExt and I couldn't stop playing. Great connectivity which makes the gameplay superb. Good job with the textures and lighting aswell. I can't find any negative things to say about it. I can't even find a bug in it :-)
I'm looking forward to playing this map on the public servers.
