Internet Toolbar - YEIKS!
My dad's installed an internet toolbar also known as Newpass2, since he's a total newb and just clicked "yes" during an installation of MSN PLUS for my sister. Now it's taking up all our net since it comes with some sorta worm.
He's run his moronic norton which detects nothing (SURPRISE!) and I've ran ad-aware through which uninstalled everything but that freaking bar, and then it just loads a whole bunch of new crap!
Help please!

And stop using IE and use Firefox or Opera instead

I hate it when people do that. Why only quote something and not adding a comment to it? Otherwise the point was already made by the first person saying it.Clown wrote:iler wrote:Try Spybot - Search & Destroy.

I can understand you agreeing with him, but wanting to show that in such a way, is no use.

Just install it and set it as default browser and make sure to import the bookmars, and he won't ever notice the difference.. although he might wonder why everything runs so fast..Sovnig wrote:My dad's a moron at a computer so he wouldn't accept having to use Mozilla (too difficult for him to understand).
I don't care.grover wrote:I hate it when people do that. Why only quote something and not adding a comment to it? Otherwise the point was already made by the first person saying it.Clown wrote:iler wrote:Try Spybot - Search & Destroy.
