cant someone code a usefull damage list?
Hey all, i was wondering if someone cant code a usefull damage list which only counts the damage caused to a player with above 0 hp. means... the maximum damage you can cause to a vital player is 100, generally the remaining hps. it would be a way more accurate to "score" players then showing kills or common damage. I think it might even improve teamplay since not every retard would rush as soon as someone was hit in the stomach by a sniper.

idiots... and den, it still gives you 540 dmg per sniperheadshot... but thats not 5 times as usefull as an m4 headshot, however i want a system to show your performance anyway. And runnung to an stomachwounded enemy and getting the whole frag isnt usefull either... but 100% of the performance goes to him. i dont think thats a usefull system.

compare the damages of the best sniper and the best m4 when you're playing somewhere. usually it's the m4 doing more damage(head/chestshots), and not the sniper, even with some headshots.
i vote for no fraglist visible, damage only. the best would be that you could only see stats about hit locations and accuracy(cmd stats), no frags and/or damage.

And btw.. omg, the sniper causes more dmg ofcourse - however this is absolutely irrelevant. i think it would just be nice to code a list where only the damage down to zero hp would be counted. THAT would be a fair system to value performance.

Well, I hardly get the "performance valuability" outside the POV of a player. But that's me.
In spite of that I think any frag counting change would be hated and will make the mod something completely different. Practical example: no rushers running for a wounded grunt leaving their covers: meaning a crappy gameplay: meaning more camping: meaning pussyness: meaning stomach-singlemp5 hitters hiding after each hit... why should they show/try to hit again... ?
I really can't see a pro in the idea... jeez would that suck!

this is something that i just thought of, its kinda related to this, so ill post it here . i don't get much of this, so if im talking about the same, please tell me. this is my idea: give the person dealing the most dmg to a players the farg. this will stop much of the stealing. then the less dmg giving person should get the dmg, but no frag...
