I started the Axion Q2 project almost a year ago, and have returned to continue work on it. However to my surprise 0 mirrors are online, and I lost the .rar some time ago. It would really help me out if someone who is using the last version of axion could upload the rar or repackage thier directory for me to work with.

Hope to release a more complete product, as well as accomodate a website and guide for new AQ2 players.

I got the pakfile with (map)textures.. but not the whole rar file.
What was the full name of it? Then i can browse my pc.

my mirror used to be one of the first google hits for "axion quake2", but i recently changed the directory structure so i think ive broken a few links

im really glad to hear you've come back to work on Axion again. many months ago i had plans to update axion myself, you can read about some of my ideas here: http://forums.aq2world.com/viewtopic.ph ... ight=axion

unfortunately due to lack of interest, skill, and time, it just never happened.

but axion in my opinion, still is the best standalone aq2 client out there. im really happy that you're back on the scene

lol im sorry rallu.. for what it counts, i think the textures in axion is what set its apart from your standalone client (for me anyway)

There was a newer version out there, not sure who if anyone has it but it had riot lumber and some other maps re-textured. If you have it let me know!

Anyway I'm currently working on beer, and enhancing the sound quality.

Looking for suggestions, and anyone who is talented at skinning / texturing to help out. I will be sure to get a website out there with a lot of mirrors this time so stay tuned

wow.. i never had any idea that there was another version. maybe you should have tagged the file name with version numbers.. eg: AQ2-1.1.rar etc.

anyway good to hear that progress is being made, im a big fan of axion

If I remember right.. The Old version was in Nocheat?
It would be better if u use apr.. Because apr makes everything look nicer, + you can use .png... So I think you shall use apr/q2 1.18 which has many things nc does not have
