modified client???? WTF?!?!?!

well, this afternoon i was playing with fleck on damain, and when the server started a new map (teamjungle), i got kicked from the server because "useing a modified client". then i immidiately reconnected and continued playing (so i didn't get any kind of ban).
starting from the point that i don't use modified clients (and that is inevitable, rarely i get more then 20 frags in one map), i think that is due because i have to do a vid_restart when i get into teamjungle, to be able to jump over boxes.
i use apr 1.18b client, and this is second time that this shitty thing happens.
anyone knows why?

i think for some reason you send bad data (vid_restart, wrong config settings, connection problems etc) to the server, which made the server think you got a modified client. No worries

It happens to a lot of people.

a friend uses wlan, and he then lags a bit, resulting in pretty big warps. then the server thinks he's using a speedhack and he gets kicked :D

yeh, it's pretty usual to see that on the servers, imo.
