HL or Vanilla?

Wich one do you guys prefer?

For those who do not know, HL is a ruleset for a cw. There can only be one of each special weapon selected on each team. So you cant do the ordinary M4 Rush.

A 7v7 is the perfect way since you then get one of each,
1 sniper
1 m4
1 m3
1 mp5
1 knives
1 HC
1 akimbo

normal AQ2, TNG like.

HL is quite fun but there should be servercvars with weapon limit per team :p

Hl is fun some times, but not all the time.

Winning is fun, so i'm going to try to have fun. thats why i'm playing.

If it's not serious, and just for the fun I tend to have less fun. WHen there is some sort of competition in it, it's a lot more fun. So Highlander can be fun at times, but normal AQ2 cw is what I prefer most of the times.

Well, the win = fun is valid at some point.

Exept, to what length will you go to win? Is going all m4/ssg on the same maps with the same tactics realy fun? I guess its all about the person, but mostly, the length i must go to win a cw almost always result in me beeing boored.

In comparison, If i wanted a high FPM in that lovely z0rbot id go public and mass m4 and kill all i could see, but im not enjoying myself while doing that. I prefer to go on the classic server (yes yes i do mention it alot) with few players, and even some -frags for killing teamies. Does it make my FPM good? Hell no. Do i have fun? Hell Yes!

Its the same with cw's and HL. My clan mostly consist of players that already have been "up there" so they rather want fun cw's now(as in fooling around).

Like last night. We had a 7v7 HL match against Uni. We lost so bad none of us even bothered to count the rounds, but we had a blast. I laughed out irl so hard at times i cried. My fiance just looked at me and shaked her head. (but yeah, that happends from time to time)
