New movie, Pauhis fragmovie!

Post by pauhi »

Hi there, I got inspired to make my own movie after latest releases (thanks to Flunx, WizardExt, NemesiS, Herty etc) and here is the result..

It's not very long (2min 28 sec), most of the frags are pretty poor, the quality isn't the best compared to the size but hey.. I'm learning all the time.
Next one will be better :p

Anyway, I'd like to thank Zakath for those few shoutcast clips from FOC05, and Herty for an idea to use them ;-)

Ps. the sound syncing didn't go exactly as I wanted (I first made the whole movie in vegas, then removed videos and saved the audios as .mp3 track, also the credits texts are missing.. Seems that I removed that track by mistake also. Anyway, after compressing the movie I added the audiotrack using Nandub and apparently something went wrong :I [not very much though])

[Offtopic]Damnit, give this thread a real name! If everyone would call his movie-thread "new movie"....[/offtopic]

Mhmmm...my humble opinion:

+ Some very nice frags
+ good ending
+ readme in .rar ;->

- no "thread"/plot/kind of storyline => just a couple of frags put in a row
- no effects => means, I am not a friend of massive effects, but sometimes a effect like SloMo let us see/understand single frags better

Go ahead, pauhi. Looking forward to your next production (prolly being posted in a thread called "new movie 2" :p).

Yay! I got to act knifecatcher! :P (Probably the only way I'm going to get to be in a aq2 frag movie )

Nice movie pauhi, but as previously stated, it would have been nice with some slowmotions, and other effects to clarify what was happening at certain stages. There were times that I wasn't even sure if and how many frags you got when you were shooting at something/someone :)

Keep them coming :)

Wee, dibs on first frag! Kinde fun to see your name on the movie, although i don't remember the situation, it was a nice throw/catch!

And ofc, nice movie. Simple and short. No glitter and bullshit, just some nice frags. I like!

It was some nights ago around 4-5AM finnish time, there were no players @ finnish servers so I took my ass to catchgamer :)

Thanks for the feedback folks, keep it coming!

So far I've realised that some effects needs to be used ;p

cool movie, not my type of music.. but somehow it quite fits for this movie and therefore i enjoyed it :)

Btw, where to get these (glow) skins? :P Compared to mine they are really bright and easier to spot than the default ones.

Oh and.. "use special" might be a better option instead of all these lines of empty guns if you want to pick your special/best weapon ;)
