I definetely haven't spent even 100 Dollars on this game and had a lot of fun. It doesn't take a lot of time to learn the basic rules, maybe as long as u need to learn Settler or Chess or something. I got the basic box with plastic miniatures that cost me about 40-50 DM back then and added some minor tin miniatures I dunno the price anymore. Therefore I played the game over and over with my brother and a few friends. There were always scenarios to develope and it was fun and cheap to make out of a piece of styropor and some painting more environment. You can always play a few test games before buying it in your local Games Workshop (there's one in Cologne near Neumarkt), so check it out for yourself. :->

Anyway, another idea before this thread gets offtopic into a Warhammer-discussion, Jan: Die Siedler von Catan. It has a high "re-play-value" and is based on logic mixed with a little fortune. ;>
