Best player on map?
Moderator: Moderators
Seems that many here haven't got even a clue what they're talking about.
People seem to just pick a map, then pick most famous clan that plays that map as their homemap, then take a random player on that clan (or one dude from that clan who has won the frags in their previous clanwar).
Guys, I hate to break it to you.. that way of thinking is seldom correct.
Since nearly everyone's said a random Apprime-member to be the best in riot, I'd like to give my opinion in this one: My clan (Explosion) would be doomed without Dominator. I wouldn't say he's the best in riot, but I can honestly say, that he beats most of Apprime's members.

I think you are quite correct there Reloiz, besides, a crazy-aiming dude can be claimed to be the best one in most of the maps who suit him partially good.
The thing is, maybe or in a way, in a specific condition, who is an important pillar in a certain map, a player that clearly makes a difference while playing with him (centred in cws, that is). And some clans just have predictated ways and paths which certain players take every round, but a good and difference-making player should be one that covers the side/street/roof/whatsoever and also dominates a big area or even the whole map while/after/before doing this.
And I doubt there are many of them.
Maybe Dominator is one of these one-man-army or however you can call them... by my side, I don't know any or haven't happened to see anyone with categorizing eyes, looking for "the pwnerer". Cause I can't care less.
But I must say that in some clanwars the presense of Cheef or Matic in plaza was quite crucial and you could notice how he dominated the rounds quite preciselly.
But of course, throwing iconic names is way easier.

Ne quid nimis.
It all depends on who and what players you play with on a daily basis. I know I've written this somewhere befor, but still - If you play much on f.ex Finnsh servers more than any other ones, you will most likely pick a Finnish player rather than a Swedish, to be the best one. Fact is, anyone can be the best one. I for one always think, no matter how good or insane someone playes, I figure - there will always be someone better. And I think like that about all kinds of things. And vice versa, "my hand hurts... fuckit, somone just got raped in the ass" However, I think Blue Vex was the best player ever. All this yabbing actually got me to think about it for real, and hes the best player I've played against/with, no doubts.
Cause if you think about it, 50%... I'd even expand myself and say 80% of you guys picks a 'closer' player as one of the best. The more you play with a guy, the more you will convince yourself hes the all-mighty. We all do it. The remaining 20% doesn't play enough to 'get involved' or even concider a "best player" to exist. In my opinion, there is no such player. But Blue Vex was the most annoying opponent I've faced. And whos impressed me the most, hence - "he's the best"
