nocheat footstep sounds

i was playing on DA Main this evening, and some1 entered with nocheat 2.34 and a error of the footstep sounds, i asked him 2 fix it.. but he didnt know in what directory he had to put it

i said i would know it, but no, after half an hour of searching.. nothing

so my question now, in what dir do u have to put the default footstep sounds?

I don't have the default footstep sounds, but I pass the test... some paks are just shit and different

i dont have a sound/players dir tbh.. but if he should make himself a players dir it should work?

He probably got the cheat footsteps in one of his pak files.

In .pak or in a dir. The dir structure is all the same

root / sound / players

Does the DA server REQUIRE nocheat? cuz thats what i been using but read some good stuff about this apr client and was actually hoping to give that a go when i got in from work.

I only really play on the DA server though cuz its full of decent chaps. Will i not be able to use the apr client?

DA Main doesnt force you to use nocheat, but it is recommend
