general question (relationship to aq2-tng)

Hello,

I haven't played this in years. I'm so glad it still has a community!

QUESTION:

How does the current release that I downloaded from this site relate to other aq2 releases, such as aq2-tng and stuff. Does this version have 3-team mode and stuff?

The current version on servers IS aq2-tng, or Maniacs improved version of tng. There's even a ctf server in the making...
