aq2soccer - [NEW MAP]

Hot on the heels of the World Cup in Germany comes a new map and style of play for AQ2 =D
Relive the memories of Zidane as you kick the crap out of opponents (and teammies) trying to win the ball! Call someone the son of a terrorist in front of a huge soccer goal and get kicked in the head before your opponent scores!

To play is simple, using this map here:

Set the server to DM and cheats 1, ban all weapons, gather some fun players, one person is the ref and ball using skin male/nut ... the rest of the players split into two teams by selecting their teams skin.
The 'ref/ball' turns on god mode and can now be kicked around the pitch, use noclip to position the ball for corners and kick offs. its very addictive, I just made this map last night and we've been playing it for hours today.
Take turns being the ref/ball, play like first to 7 goals wins.

havent tried it yet but looks cool.
FooQ there is actually a q2 mod for this. q2soccer if i remember correctly. the mod has alot of different maps(no ordinary soccer fields) and a ball to play with

I used to play it quite alot few years ago.

Ive never seen that mod, this is cool tho cos you can run it on an AQ2 server and it has injuries like real football and a ref whos also the ball and can make controversial decisions just like the World Cup =P

Plus as a bonus this is a ctf map, theres flags in the corners =D

ActionQuake CTF : Most definitely, I recommend setting wp_flags 433 to remove mp5, m4, m3 and akimbos for faster more fun play, less leg damage and m3 shotguns are lame

fuct what do you mean? m3 shotguns are lame or are you talkin about leg dmg?

Leg dmg in CTF sucks because its hard to score.

Leg dmg in AQ2 soccer is good because it simulates injuries and makes it easier to score as you can kick your opponents away and maybe gimp or kill them.

I dont see how the two points cant be made at the same time lol theyre different mods

Shotgun is not lame.
Leg dmg in ctf is fine.
Leg dmg in 'soccer' (its fucking football!) is not.

Fooq you need to change the map a bit, more spawn points, more lines, maybe a stadium like thing, player bench, etc
