what settings are you useing?

I´ve been trying to but together a good config and never seem satisfied about my settings..

what is your oppinion on what mouse/net settings are "best" ?

m_pitch
m_yaw
m_filter
windows sens
mouse dpi
sens
acc on/off
maxfps
xpfix
xp
rate

anything else?

m_pitch 0.022 //mouse pitch, use "-0.022" to get invert mouse
m_yaw 0.022
m_filter 1
windows sens 6
mouse dpi 2000
sens 3
acc on/off OFF (in game and in windows)
maxfps 108 and 30 (30 for some jumps and 108 combined with vid_displayfrequancy 100 for quicker frameupdate on 180 twists)
xpfix 1
xp errr... profesional...
rate 25000

anything else?

windows pointer prisicion off!

Thanks for replies..

2 more things.. when i aim fx. with sniper i allways have to aim where they will be in 1 sec ... like i lag when i have about 30 ping? and when i play on servers with about 50 ping i hit where i aim..

anybody got idea what governs this? rate? .. cause my server is caped at 8000

and the second thing.. what does m_side do?

doesn't m_side have something to do with moving speed when freelook is turned of, aka you move by dragging the mouse in different directions? :P

you dont need to ubertweak ur mouse to aim, its all about skill man

but to fill out ur points..

yeah i know it´s about the skills.. but what is bothering me is that i have to aim infront of somebody to kill him.. this isint that annying when playing with m4, but when i play with sniper it´s kinda bothering to allways have to guess where they will be in 1 sec instead of just shooting where they are.. what i was wondering if rate had anything to do with this.. anybody know some formula or something on how rate works??

my way to conter this so far has been increasing the m_yaw to 0.26 but the movement isint as good as before with m_yaw set to 0.22

Maybe it´s just that the server here in icleand, hasn´t been updated since 2002..

what ping do you have then?
