It's relative mate.. if the food I buy at the pizzeria tastes like shit, sure I'll complain - eventhough your granddad died in a mining accident (may he rest in peace). So cut the bullcrap please.. sure we should remember our history, but we shouldn't let ourselves and our opinions be crippled by it.

A very smart comparison, we should of course consider the time before the neolithic revolution and wonder whether your ancestor survived due to good genes or just because he was able to get some game. The evolution is a good thing but I don't know what it has to do with this. The current scale is a bit... shorter, one might say
