textures and maps

when i play aq2 somemaps won't download and most textures dont load either do i have to download from website ad if i do where do i extract them

Yes - most servers don't allow downloads directly anymore, so you'll have to download them manually. I can't remember the link to any of the map depots, but I'm sure you can find them at the links section of www.aq2world.com
