so i keep this short.Urban Terror is a realism based "total conversion mod" for Quake III Arena. Urban Terror is a completely free add-on to id Software's Quake III Arena.
They are workin on Beta 3.0 atm, and should be released 2moro night i think.
Urban Terror 3will be available for Win32, Linux and Macintosh. The download will be approximately 300Mb, available in either .zip of .exe (Mac will have their own installer). So what is included? The development team has essentially created an all new game, like the jump from 1.x to 2.x, Urban Terror 3 has completely new code for lag compensation, hit detection, physics and much more. We have been hard at work updating the male and female model skins, along with tweaking current weapons and their skins. We also debut the new IMI Negev and the highly anticipated game mode, Bomb/Defuse. A fully integrated UI will allow gamers and admins alike to send commands from in game. We have sent many hours updating levels that will be included in the release. Expect updates to some of your favorite levels, such as Casa, Docks and Abbey. We have also added many new levels to support Bomb/Defuse and CTF. These are just a few of the exciting changes that you will get with the release
