I updated the Apr 1.20 to Apr 1.21 and now i get this error:

Try redownloading it, Maniac fixed few things yesterday..

I've got the same error. But that happens when in-game, when I have been playing for a little while. The game throws me out and that error-popup appears, and I am out.

A friend of mine had the error at once when starting the client, so he never came into the game at all.

I'll try to re-download the files, and comes back with a report.

Same here.

I figured that error happens when i got the grenades. I got all models from grenades deleted and i dont get the error anymore.

Update: It's still the same issue, unfortunately. While this problem is still an issue, there is no way I can use the newest version of Apr, neither can some of my mates.

When i try to enter the map my PC just stops working and i can't do anything. First i found some ati error in windows error logs and solved it by installing older drivers to gfx. Error is solved but problem still exists. Was talking with Maniac and he told me to use aq2sw.exe and i get this:

mmm the problem is rocket explode, try remove the rocket explode folder in your pak (save only the original model in the pak0.pak).

example in your pak (not pak0.pak)

00400000 00401000 aq2 (version unknown, symbols unknown)
so you probably dont have the dbghelp.dll, download it http://maniac.aq2world.com/apr/dbghelp.dll and try again.

And to the locked topic, i fixed the rotating sky with axis, for now you can fix this by setting any sky without rotating axis, in this case "sky space1".
About the rocket explode, whats the full error/warning msg?
Theres some new check for bad models in the 1.21, so it could probably be a bad model.

I repair the problem, when remove the r_explode model.

yes, in r1q2 the model not have problems, is only in aprq2 1.21, it´s the rocket explode invisible. i replace the invisible model with rocket explode only a bit more small about original.
