Runtime Error! Program: E:\Quake2\aq2.exe R6002 - Floating point not loaded
I get this when I start my quake with aq2.exe. nocheat.exe works fine, R1Q2 doesnt.
I also get this error on some other stuff, like world of warcraft.
Any of you guys know anything about what this error means and how I could fix it? If there's anything I need to do, ie. give you some more info, tell me how and ill do it. any help greatly appreciated!
I'm running windows XP sp3.
Edit: I also have the problem that explorer.exe sometimes fails to completely load on startup, so I have to open Windows Task Manager to shut it down, and start it from New Task under applications.
I've also formatted my C: with windows twice.
Runtime error!

I've tried googling it, but all i found was people having trouble with one program, and that the way to fix is was usually to remove some addons or similiar stuff.
Doesnt make sense to me why I should get this error at several places all of a sudden.
What would it mean if it was a compile error?

Nah I use the some one as before the errors came and before the formats.Huh, weird. That looks like a compile error.
Did you install a fresh AQ2?
