Clearly depends on what you mean by rock it's a quite wide style. But rock as a whole is by far the best of those.

And if anyone votes for R&B I want to know if they listen to R&B or if they listen to up-tempo strange'o nonsense-music such as Destiny's Child.

Absolutely Trance and co. lets say 60% and co

but, coldplay is also great though.. but i wouldnt really call it rock or well

I wouldve answered rock, hip-hop or trance & co.

I like quite much everything but I voted rock because its biggest of those so I like it most

coldplay is most definately rock, and it's rock in the good end of it. i.e the soft-rock part. For some more odd music, check out Radiohead, innovative rock at it's best.

hiphop, rock, ska, jazz, reggae

i listen to all of em.. i think you just have to get in some style of music to like it. you cant say that you dont like for example hiphop, when you've only listened to some songs on mtv.

its also important to have different music styles for different moments - cant listen to ska when i'm really fucked for example.

hm, usually I listen to trance.. but I like all sorts of music, from gangsta rap to classic, from elton john to kabouter plop

everything with a nice beat is good enough for me, and it also depends on the mood I am in really

punk is really different.. you could say techno is hardhouse and trance, but punk will never be the same as rock :p
