Looks like avarage doom3 mod in that video. And making player move faster is easy piecy thing to code =)

Basically Doom 3 is very easy engine to mod. Almost everything can be done with Doom 3 scripts like for Action Quake 4 you just need weapon selection and team spawnin code done with SDK
Biggest problem is finding good artists & modellers who can actually do high quality work... Making high poly weapon is something very different compared to low poly modelling what games have been until now.
If I weren't doing this other D3 mod project I would be definetly making AQ4

Indeed, without good artists & modellers the mod will suck
But i dont think its a 'very easy' engine to mod because if it was, several mods should have been released by now.
I've been visiting ur website from time to time, looks promising. I really like this concept art;

Well, i dont mean 'changed weapon effects mods'
There's a whole fucking list with 'Upcoming Total Conversion Doom 3 Mods'. I know, doom3world is one of my website i check regulary.

Not the best clip to watch. Hard to get any ideas when the only thing we see is the player dying. No strafe jumps... Kind of blurry clip too huh?

but at least it shows that q4 will be not that slow as at first clip. So hopefully we will have strafejumps and doublejumps

Strafe jumping is a bug. People have learnt to live with this bug, and use it to their advantage, but it's a bug nontheless.

It was a bug back then. Now it's a form of standard for the quake serie. So I fully understand people who wants it. I am one of those.
Anyway... I watched the rocket jump clip and there you see tendency for strafe jumping.
