Looked nice. The weapons were a bit too 'normal-looking' though
I hope they kept railgun in this one.

I like that a FPS game has "normal" weapons, on the other hand it's cool to have some freakier stuff too. I think Half-Life has succeeded quite well in that. SoF2 was really nice cause it had only realistic weapons but still you could shoot accurately with them.
.. and what would modern Quake be, if there wasn't teh railgun? B<

i agree about it looking slow. it bothers me, since fast gameplay is the fun way and a quake standard. i watched a clip with fatality gaming at quakecon and was a bit dissapointed about the slow pace, the never seen strafe/bunny jumps and the repetitive gameplay. i hope for a multiplayer demo soon.

That will take quite a while since the d3 engine is not something you master in a few days
