really GOOD movies

Post by mirror »

hejho

looking at the movieorama thread i realized that ppl posted a lot of films i never have heard of be4. are they pr0 or am i just newbish? well anyway i created this thread to collect as many titles of good movies as possible.

what are good movies?

well, pls dont post films like MATRIX, because "the effects are soo coool".. this thread is more about unknown films, maybe also films that make u think, that are different. (but still all kinds of movies are welcome, also comedy. just not too commercial and hollywood-spiderman like, if u know what i mean :/).

i'll start off...

- amores perros (car accident connecting 3 lifes/stories dealing with loss and life's harsh realities)
- requiuem for a dream (film about drug abuse of young&old ppl, tragical)
- 21 gram (again a car acident linking different stories, the way made reminds me a lil bit of memento)

k now u plz :x

I'm not sure how well known this is, but if anybody hasn't seen the mini series "Band of Brothers" yet, go see it at once.
It's a serie of 10 parts ~80 minutes each, and believe it or not "Saving private Ryan" seems like an average movie compared to this.

try your luck here.

who said we didn't need to sticky that flash-movie from albinoblacksheep?

edit: Also, the band of brothers series are terribly pro-united-states, just as almost any other war-film.

I loved "Cypher" the story is really good. (I won't tell the story cause it will ruin the entire movie if i do)
Further more "Along Came A Spider" Brilliant bad guy :) (Some guy trying to pull of the most famous kidnap in history)
Recently out: Out Of Time (Denzel Washinginton getting stuck in a conspiracy )

Just watched a great french movie called "Delicatessen" (It's awesome, yo)
Am I supposed to write something about the movies story here?

Anyway, it's about people starving, killing and eating eachother. And still it manages to come out as a comedy. Almost forgot; YO!
