Apple Wireless Keyboard

Post by Clown »

Yes, it's my turn to ask for help.

I went down to Regents Street today and got me one of these keyboards. Now I already had a Belkin bluetooth thing, and pairing and connecting these two devices is a doddle, but is there any way to automise it so that the keyboard connects as I load into Windows? I'm already assuming that I need a PS/2 keyboard attached if I'm to do anything while the machine is booting, is this right?

I just don't like having to manually connect the keyboard everytime Windows finishes loading. Ahh, I better make sure my hands are clean before I use it as well... I can see this keyboard getting very grubby, very quickly.

Thanks.

Edit: Windows 2000, Belkin DBT-120 USB Bluetooth Adapter.
I don't give a shit.

A newer mb bios gives you the option like "USB Device Legacy Support" which activates a bios driver to use usb keyboards in booting environemt.

the bt dongle is connected via usb right ? normally it should work cause ms and other manufactures already released bluetooth mouse/keyboard combos.
