I set up a linkbot that is supposed to link the few AQ2-ppl from ETG (mostly USA) to the QuakeNet over the #aq2world channel.

You won't come around to notice it. hf with the new world overseas.

Though I like to get in contact with the american players I am not sure this is useful since we got multi-server-irc-clients nowadays.

Suggestion:
Why don't you call the bot AQ2W_ETG and get rid of the ETG in people's name?

Because it would concur with my thoughts of being able to extend it easily to other networks as well.
