Quake II Evolved + AQ2

Hello..
this is the new shizzle ... i wanna play aq2 with my evolved but the servers dont let me.. getting kicked because of illegal settings..
thats the number 1 prob..

my second prb is that i dont have any f*** sound .. not in evolved or aq2..

yeah yeah.. would be fun if u pro guys out ther fixed so i could play with evolved on the servers.. its like a diffrent game now

q2e is not supported by anticheat servers and it's already hacked. I'd advise you to stick to a supported client such as r1q2, apr or egl. If you like q2e for the graphical environment I'd suggest you to go for apr or egl.
If you do wish this that much, post a request onto the appropriate topic under R1CH's forum.

As for the sounds check if s_initsound 1

yeah well i play with apr 1.20 and uses 32bits weap ,textures ,items and players ... but its not even close with the fire and shit on evolved

..

try EGL, take some effort on it. It's an impressive client...

-no more stupid fps drops, even with antistropic filtration at max
-little better graphic ( not much

)
-aq2 is smoother than ever!
-jumping is easier than ever
-u can see what ping u will have on a server before connecting
-cool effects like more realistic blood than ever, and gunsmoke when u shoot, little from mp5 and more from m4, just as it should)

-2 different movement sounds... one like u r walking on something metalic ( i.e the tiles on urban) and the original, this means hearing where ur opponent are is easier than ever

3 times hurray for EGL

just remember to set gl_shadows "1" not 2.

you can play with evolved in any no client enforcing server.. and it's the majority.
I've tried evolved, egl it's far superior and having the same goodies evolved offered.
