Akuta's Jumping movies

Check the commands starting with avi (avi + tab) and read the readme, there are details about the commands themselves. And yeh, you won't need Fraps anymore.
About the FPS, I just remembered that AprQ2 captures at a configurable framerate, that would fix anything. The stripes might come from Fraps recording, dunno though. Just give avirecord a try, 25 fps (framerate of the video) should do the trick.

I'll leave it to fraps, when i watch the raw material there is nothing wrong with them. They are perfect. I figured out about the avirecord tho, but im old fashioned. Sorry I'll try to get a better compress progress in the next movie tho. And thanks for the help. I really appritiate itCaracol wrote:Check the commands starting with avi (avi + tab) and read the readme, there are details about the commands themselves. And yeh, you won't need Fraps anymore.

Check what cl_avidemo command does, it's very cool for making movies, too. When you want to record something, put cl_avidemo 30 and when you're done put it back to 0. You get many screenshots in action/avi that can be put together in a video with VirtualDub. There's no sound, but you don't need one in these movies, plus the file is smaller than using fraps/apr's avirecord.
I also suggest putting these movies to youtube or google video, those are handy

Oh man, my texture folder is at 300MB, you really want me to upload that?Uncle- wrote:Id use cl_avidemo 30
It makes 30 screenshots per second. With this you get smoothest movment ever. There is also a cvar cl_avidemoformat 0 - tga, 1 - jpg
You can set jpg quality with gl_screenshot_quality 0 .. 100
tip: make texture pak, wanna see it.
OFc Use www.7-zip.com to make it smallest possible archive and then upload it on internet, maybe some free service, somewhere
