Facility3 is here...still no Facility1? Hmm...weird. :)

Once again you are surrounded by rock walls and fighting under the blue sky. It's larger than the previous facility map, and also differs a lot in many aspects. You have a more opened area in the middle, some good spots for the sniper, but also a terrain that gives a good boost for the other weapons. Especially if you use it in the first few seconds of the round, otherwise you have to use on of the many routes to suprise them.

I sat down and worked a bit more on detailing the level where it was needed, not only visual brushwork, but also the texture work. I like the many interesting locations you find throughout the map, also the connectivity and the opened area outside.

Deathmatch and Teamplay mode are supported.

Hope you like this map and give it a go. A worthy continue of Facility2?

i like fast maps.
ezy to move from one point to another.nice textures. we'll see for gameplay, but seems well playable. nice job.

ow, looking at screenshots i thought grass would hury my eyes hardly (thats green in the shots its just TOO bright :D ) but when i started map were all ok.

Yea, it's probably not that bright in-game. Just my intensity 3 that does it. I liked how it got the grass to "glow", like the sun would be really strong. Heh.

And also a big thanks to the illusion team for testing the map. Also a new feature was inplented, just before the final version, thanks to some weird ideas. I can only hint with the word "chimney". Hihi. Anyway...it was a blast! :)

I discovered a weird bug. At the green house there is a stair. Bit right of that there is a small hill. Jump into that hill and you won't be able to move =\.

I don't know what's weird about that. Sounds like I the normal get-stuck bug. I must have missed to clip it. Can you take a screenie. I tried to get stuck there myself, I failed... record or take screen.

When i first glanced at the screenshots i thought that would be an instant hit, and i was right. The textures you have made/chosen are perfect. There is only one other map where i feel the textures are 100% right and thats bail's bus stop map. This map truly is a continuation of facility2 it has the same feel and I hope the same playability. The idea of being able to run around the edges of the map lightning quick really should give it great gameplay and make the style of play very adaptable. I also love the indoor area with the traintracks. Such a nice feature. You might consider this a poor review cos i dont include any bad points but i honestly dont see any and i can't untill I have played the map at great length.

All in all i think you have really hit the nail on the head with this one, and i can only hope and pray that it makes it into regular rotations.

Wiz, I think you have secured your place in the aq2 map-makers hall-o-fame (as if u werent in it already :D)
